Zoey FAQ

Zoey FAQ

1. Is Zoey a company or a software?
Zoey is a software designed to create, organize, and analyze all of your contracts!

2. Is Zoey a lawyer?
No. Zoey is not a lawyer and does not provide legal advice. She is also not an accountant or a doctor.  Zoey is your digital contracts expert and helps you create, organize and understand contracts like never before. That means Zoey can show you insights on your contracts, but she does not tell you what to do.
3. Are Zoey templates really free forever?
Yes.  Absolutely and with no strings attached. We want you to use these templates along with Zoey's other features to make awesome deals and grow your business. Just don't forget about us when you are rich and famous.
4. Are my contracts and data safe?
Yes.  We use industry standard security protocols to protect your contracts and personal information. In fact, we don't even access your account.  With Zoey, you are in full control.  Just don't share your password with others because that is usually not a good idea.
5. What if I run out of free eSignatures?
You can keep using Zoey's eSignature feature for a low low rate of $0.99 per signature after you use your monthly free signatures.  Your service remains uninterrupted.
6. Are the eSignatures legally binding?
Yes; in the United States, Europe, and most Asian countries.  Please check with your country's laws on eSignatures if you have any questions.
7. Do I have to sign up for the annual plan?
No.  You can go month to month.  You get a sweet 10% discount if you sign up for the annual plan, so whenever you are ready, just switch to annual.
8. Is your risk calculator giving me legal advice?
No. It just tells you what the risk levels are with certain terms and conditions so you can negotiate your contracts better.  These scores are based on common legal drama that comes with these terms. We noticed that most entrepreneurs just need to know what the contract terms mean and how risky they are.  So, we made it easy for them to get that information without hiring a lawyer, or going to law school.  Again, Zoey is not a lawyer so please consult with your attorney if you have any questions on any of the contracts you sign.
9. Are the short and Spanish translation versions legally binding?
Yes.  We simplified some of the contract templates to plain english and provided their Spanish translations so small business owners can easily understand the contracts they are signing.  We want everyone to understand and use contracts as a tool to improve their lives and not be afraid of them.
